Khalil published a new concerning the construction of statues of the President of the Republic, after the news reached a group on WhatsApp called Al-Arz Group. Rafiq Shalala, Director of the Information Office of the Presidency of the Republic, confirming that the news is incorrect, so he removed it from the website. He was summoned by the intelligence service in Mount Lebanon. He was interrogated about the news and the timing of its publication and removal. After about 3 hours, he was released, and the investigation was without a report or a judicial indication
