Case summary
The Central Bureau of Investigation summoned Al Nsouli, the director of the website Beirut Qadiaty. He sent a WhatsApp voice recording which criticized a photo of Nader Al Hariri, the former Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Saad Hariri, meeting with Taha Mikati, who is close to the Syria regime. Later, in January 2020 the Single Criminal Judge in Beirut, Rosine Hujeili, issued a decision to nullify the prosecution against Hani Al-Nasouli for the offense and slander.
