Case summary
He wrote a post entitled "State Security and the AIDS Scourge" in which he criticized the security forces after they arrested a salon owner under the pretext of "transmitting the [AIDS] virus to customers." Adam refrained from appearing before the military court. He was sentenced in absentia to 3 months in prison by judge Antoine Halabi. Later on April 11, the judge accepted the formal objections and declared that the military judiciary was not competent to look into the file. After that, the government commissioner at the military court, Peter Germannos, decided to keep Adam's file in contempt for public administrations by publishing comments that offended the General Directorate of State Security and considering that his actions do not warrant prosecution.
